Mighty MicroComputers

Real world skills are incorporated in this KidsTech camp. Kids discover the functionality of very powerful microcomputers that are  found in millions of smart devices,  jet airplanes and even used in building smart cities. This knowledge is just in time as we all now live in the age of the “Internet of Things”.

Kids explore computing circuitry, manage servers and code! They have a blast creating inventions that light up, spark, whirr, and buzz!

Engineering skills are put to the test as kids program gadgets like clocks, counters, jukeboxes, timers thermometers, battery testers, sensors, or make a crazy magic eight ball.

Tech Mods

Tech Mods are blocks of hours you can purchase that offer flexibility for kids busy schedules. The more Tech Mods purchased the cheaper per hour cost. Kids can use Tech Mods any time during KidsTech times. They never expire. This is way cool for frequent flyer tech kids!

Summer Camps

Camp Overview

Microcomputers are the backbone of many everyday electronics that we use. In this camp, students will learn to program and control these useful machines. By programming, Arduino, and Microbit students will develop skills in circuitry, python coding, C++ coding, creative thinking, teamwork, and critical thinking. The world develops more smart devices such as Ring, Nest, home systems and other Internet of Things devices, it is paramount for children to be ready for the technology of their future. Here kids learn the basics of electrical circuitry, how applications are developed, and are connected to the world around them. Throughout the week students will be developing a project to present to their parents at the end of the camp. The final day of camp will conclude with kids demonstrating all the crazy cool stuff they learned during the week!

Instructors

All KidsTech Instructors are qualified technology proficient GenTechs, Computer Science college majors, Information Technology mentors, engineers or Arizona certified technology teachers.

KidsTech instruction is individualized for each attendee from beginner to advanced levels.
Kids are presented challenges with a ton of good times packed into each session.
Our focus is on industry standard programming proficiencies and our instructors inspire
critical thinking, problem solving and integrate extraordinary interactive methodologies
